Linda Vegher is a Virginia-based equine sports massage therapist and a licensed human massage therapist. Linda studied human massage therapy at The Potomac Massage Training Institute in Silver Springs, MD. She has competed or ridden in almost every equine discipline, including the Mongol and Gaucho Derby. Her horsemanship consists of a B-level rating in USPC, has worked with world-renowned performance vets, and was also an international groom for Olympic eventer, Nina Fout (where she won the groom’s award at Burghley).

In 2000, Linda met Jo-Ann Wilson, the United States Equine Physio at the Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, and was intrigued by Wilson’s work on both horses and riders. Then, as a result, in 2016, Linda pursued her interest in the Wilson Meagher Method ™ of Sportsmassage. After continuing education with Wilson and achieving results with her client base, she became JoAnn’s first affiliate and assists in teaching the Practitioner of Technical Skills in Equine Sportsmassage. She also represented Jo-Ann as the Equine Physio for the US Eventing Team at the World Equestrian Games in Pratoni, Italy 2022, Winners of the Team Silver Medal. Vegher continued as the Equine Physio for The Pan Am Games in Santiago, Chile, 2023, Winners of the Team Silver and Individual Gold Medal, The Olympic Games in Paris, France, 2024 and the CCIO4*-S, part of the Eventing Nation’s Cup at CHIO Aachen, Germany, 2025, Winners of the Team Silver Medal.

Linda’s current practice includes all equine breeds and disciplines, as well as humans and canines. She is a frequent fox hunter and polo player and has been featured in The Chronicle of the Horse, Middleburg Life, and Fauquier Times. She continues to expand her human massage practice in Virginia to equestrians, athletes, and non-athletes. She is currently the USEF Eventing equine physio for 2025 and hopes to serve the horses at the next World Championships in Aachen 2026. For more information, visit her site at eq-motion.com.
